About this place
Just a few kilometres east of Pogradec, Drilon is the city’s easiest escape into nature. Powerful springs rise beneath the park and flow through clear, slow-moving channels toward the lake, shaded by willows and crossed by small wooden bridges. Swans and waterbirds add to the calm atmosphere that has made Drilon one of the best-loved stops in the Pogradec area. The park is compact and easy to explore on foot. Visitors can follow waterside paths, take a short boat ride, pause in the gardens, or enjoy fresh fish and regional dishes at the nearby restaurants. Tushemisht begins almost beside the park, so the two destinations are easily combined in one relaxed outing. Drilon is especially pleasant in the morning or late afternoon, when the paths are quieter and the light reflects through the trees. Whether you have an hour or half a day, it offers a refreshing contrast to the lively Pogradec promenade without taking you far from the city.
